Note: The City of Colorado Springs owns and staffs the Uncle Wilber
Fountain, and occasionally experiences staff shortages that affect their
ability to keep the Fountain open. This is particularly true during
the last weeks of the summer. Unexpected maintenance issues and weather
can also cause the Fountain to close temporarily. For questions regarding
Fountain closures, please contact Deb Barry of the Colorado Springs
Parks & Rec Aquatics division at 385-6035.

Park at the corner of Bijou and Tejon streets. There is no fee for enjoying
the fountain, but donations
Notice to Uncle Wilber patrons: please park in the city garage on the
corner of bijou and cascade. It's only one block away and the rates are
the same as the parking meters. Parking in the city garage helps the downtown
merchants by freeing much needed parking for shoppers. And access to Uncle
Wilber is safer since you don't have to cross three lanes of traffic.
You can relax and enjoy the fountain since you can park in the shade of
the garage for as long as you like and not worry about your meter! Uncle
Wilber and the downtown merchants appreciate your efforts and thank you
for your cooperation!
